Luisito Fix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudiu Cezar came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisito Fix slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. If Luisito Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Tino charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Tino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, one of Atlético Montserrat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético Montserrat. The referee gave ITA Arad a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petru Plopan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético Montserrat's Isaias Gurutz. 1-1. ITA Arad's Claudiu Cezar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Fix in the 12th minute of play. Claudiu Cezar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Rivero in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Petru Plopan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Gurutz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Cesar Ted shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudiu Cezar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luisito Fix hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, one of Atlético Montserrat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute, Cesar Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaias Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Raţiu in the 41st minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolae Raţiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudiu Cezar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Luzea in the 55th minute of the match. Rogelio Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Ţurcaş kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Isaias Gurutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Bitang in the 68th minute. Claudiu Cezar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Fix went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Iustinian Bitang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Isaias Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Cezar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Emeterio in the 79th minute of the match. If Silviu Țepelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Luisito Fix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudiu Cezar. ITA Arad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Fix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 98th minute Gogo Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Cezar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Montserrat fans cheered their team off the field, for while ITA Arad had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
