ITA Arad:s Cazimir Axinte showed great skill when he stopped Tolunay Aker:s penalty. The nice shot from Cosmin Contra in the 9thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ünal Topel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikail Taşcıoğlu in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Axinte saved ITA Arad from getting behind. A collision led to ITA Arad getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Valeriu Afloroaiei hit a great ball. Petru Plopan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. İstemihan Asır kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The ITA Arad fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when ITA Arad's Iustinian Bitang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikail Taşcıoğlu in the 27th minute of play forced ITA Arad's goalkeeper Cazimir Axinte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valeriu Afloroaiei in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ünal Topel saved İSTANBULLS FC from getting behind. Silviu Țepelea charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Țepelea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ITA Arad's Silviu Țepelea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Iustinian Bitang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ünal Topel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, İSTANBULLS FC's İstemihan Asır nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Axinte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sezen Tokuşhan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, İstemihan Asır made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Axinte. ITA Arad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 56 minutes into the match, Mikail Taşcıoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Axinte. ITA Arad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikail Taşcıoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, ITA Arad's goalkeeper Cazimir Axinte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikail Taşcıoğlu. Cazimir Frunză hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, İstemihan Asır managed to get in a good position for a shot. İSTANBULLS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but İstemihan Asır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Axinte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saltuk Vahdettin got free with Cazimir Axinte in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, İSTANBULLS FC's Adnan Özgenc got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, ITA Arad's Petru Plopan tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Petru Plopan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ünal Topel. İSTANBULLS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 86 played minutes İSTANBULLS FC got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Tuğrul. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. İSTANBULLS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
