Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Squadra de Pippe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albert Vaştag took the corner. Albert Vaştag made a great header on Ninjas in Pyjamas's corner, it was just that Squadra de Pippe's Anthony Volpe managed to reach the ball for a save. Iosif Mihele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Anthony Volpe made a huge save. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Mihele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Anthony Volpe managed, with a little bit of luck, save Iosif Mihele's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Iosif Mihele did an outstanding performance 23 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Anthony Volpe in the goal. Juninho Junior took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Volpe. Anthony Volpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Cilli in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Bornescu saved Ninjas in Pyjamas from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra de Pippe's zone, Iosif Mihele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Volpe came out of the goal and Iosif Mihele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ninjas in Pyjamas's zone, Angelo Cilli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Alberigo Mauro got a free kick in the 39th minute. Juninho Junior hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 52 minutes, Juninho Junior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninjas in Pyjamas and the Squadra de Pippe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juninho Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Juninho Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Volpe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Florin Griguță managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Juninho Junior scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Volpe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Cilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra de Pippe's zone, Juninho Junior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Volpe came out of the goal and Juninho Junior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Juninho Junior made a precise shot to the right of Anthony Volpe. Squadra de Pippe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 89th minute, Albert Vaştag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Angelo Cilli came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Squadra de Pippe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Cilli couldn't finish the play. If Juninho Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninjas in Pyjamas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
