A hard shot 18 in the game by Vlad Antim from a close distance when the talented Karl-Magnus Strömqvist managed to make a qualified save. Medelpad U21's players were relieved. Eduard Frumușanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Medelpad U21 defense, Eduard Oțeteleșanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Strömqvist. The Medelpad U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Magnus Strömqvist should have stopped the shot. Karl-Magnus Strömqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Zdrăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Carl Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Medelpad U21 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. 潘永树 hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Olimpiu Gruia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Vennersten, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Medelpad U21 booed when Yellow Flag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Zdrăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Yellow Flag's Teodor Vlădean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Magnus Strömqvist. Karl-Magnus Strömqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vlad Antim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Medelpad U21 booed when Yellow Flag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Vlădean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Medelpad U21's Carl Lundgren got a free kick in the 55th minute. Teodor Vlădean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Karl-Magnus Strömqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Manny Gol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Manny Gol scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Frumușanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Medelpad U21's Karl-Magnus Strömqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Antim in the 79th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduard Frumușanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yellow Flag fans cheered their team off the field, for while Medelpad U21 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
