After 9 played minutes FC Alytus United got a freekick which was hit by Alfredas Zubrickas. In the 14th minute, Hubertas Ronaldo made a precise shot to the right of Midas Calvo. Girona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Orlondo Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustas Mileška having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Regimantas Šileikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Midas Calvo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Alytus United's Hubertas Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Hubertas Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 25 minutes, Saul De Pablo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Girona FC and the FC Alytus United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Hubertas Ronaldo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Midas Calvo. 32 minutes into the game, FC Alytus United's Hubertas Ronaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Midas Calvo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Midas Calvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubertas Ronaldo in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubertas Ronaldo in the 39th minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Midas Calvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Hubertas Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. Midas Calvo was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Vidas Jasiūnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vidas Jasiūnas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Marius Mencendorfs's late challenge caught a Girona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Mencendorfs helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Alytus United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marius Mencendorfs hit a great ball. Regimantas Šileikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Midas Calvo having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ąžuolas Mencendorfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Alytus United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Midas Calvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristijonas Auga in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Girona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mon Saura to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regimantas Šileikis to maneuver through the defense. Midas Calvo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubertas Ronaldo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, FC Alytus United's Hubertas Ronaldo made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Midas Calvo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goalkeeper Midas Calvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ąžuolas Mencendorfs. Faustas Mileška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Hubertas Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Midas Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidas Jasiūnas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Midas Calvo came out and tried to block the shot, but Vidas Jasiūnas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 91st minute. In the 95th match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erikas Spudys to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Salif Keita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustas Mileška skillfully saved the ball. FC Alytus United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
