With 11 minutes on the clock, Batıhan Aktaşoğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ataol Yasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Burhan Mengü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, AnkaraGücü SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Toygar to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Volkan Abanoz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Burhan Mengü showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, AnkaraGücü SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ataol Yasin came free, but Burhan Mengü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulaziz Zati's late challenge caught a the end's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulaziz Zati helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, the end was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semi Erbay to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansel Çelik in the 26th minute of play forced the end's goalkeeper Vefa Altuncuoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volkan Abanoz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. the end's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vefa Altuncuoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fahrettin Kultigin in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of AnkaraGücü SK booed when the end was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazhar Aytolun didn't get a good kick on the ball. the end's Vefa Altuncuoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansel Çelik in the 35th minute of play. Mehmet Efe Mülayim kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Volkan Abanoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The AnkaraGücü SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burhan Mengü should have stopped the shot. Vefa Altuncuoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tansel Çelik, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, the end's goalkeeper Vefa Altuncuoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdulaziz Zati. The crowd rose to their feet as Tansel Çelik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vefa Altuncuoğlu. That made the score 1-3 in the 73 minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Zati recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vefa Altuncuoğlu. After having played for 92 minutes, Ataol Yasin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the end's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol Yasin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AnkaraGücü SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
