Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Ayapata FC's Nahia Igual started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Simon Colmenero came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ayapata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Colmenero couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Juan Sebastian Veron getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marciano Txomin hit a great ball. Nahia Igual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Normando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Caseda. Ayapata FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Caseda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Felo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Chinto Cerdeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayapata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chinto Cerdeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Firme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ayapata FC's Carlos Caseda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Felo in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcial Felo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Caseda was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ayapata FC's Nahia Igual slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Firme. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Santutxo Nafarrate hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Angel Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute Fernando Olabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Normando hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nahia Igual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Firme was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Juan Sebastian Veron's Marciano Txomin got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes, Ayapata FC's Eudoxio Cervilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Firme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayapata FC reached it. Christian Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofor Velayo in the 72nd minute of play. Christian Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Olabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Cristofor Velayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Firme. Juan Sebastian Veron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristofor Velayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Victoriano Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Juan Sebastian Veron got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Toro. Chuan Davalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Christian Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Olabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Firme having to interfere. Christian Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Olabe in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Simon Colmenero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Cristofor Velayo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Juan Sebastian Veron's Christian Firme. Christian Firme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juan Sebastian Veron players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ayapata FC.
