In the 15th match minute, Austra VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Zeledon Megid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FITO APPLE TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Megid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FITO APPLE TEAM's Nesto Inguanzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FITO APPLE TEAM from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Váldson da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesto Inguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, FITO APPLE TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Tavares came free, but Nesto Inguanzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nesto Inguanzo made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Magdaleno Sabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FITO APPLE TEAM and the Austra VFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magdaleno Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes FITO APPLE TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Lana. Clóvis Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Ucieda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clóvis Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tono Andonegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Váldson da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Magdaleno Sabino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Magdaleno Sabino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 54 minutes into the game, Bebeto Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nesto Inguanzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Váldson da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nesto Inguanzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 63rd minute, FITO APPLE TEAM's Zeledon Megid seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zeledon Megid the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FITO APPLE TEAM protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zeledon Megid had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FITO APPLE TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Austra VFC. Bebeto Baiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nesto Inguanzo. 5-0. Austra VFC's Reynaldo Negri was substituted for Sydney Nogueira. Austra VFC's Rômulo Saldanha was substituted for Maurinho Gomes. In the 72nd match minute, FITO APPLE TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Moneda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Austra VFC booed when FITO APPLE TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Ucieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Reynaldo Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesto Inguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nesto Inguanzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Negri in the 82nd minute of play. Haroldo Ucieda kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes, Austra VFC's Bebeto Baiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nesto Inguanzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Austra VFC reached it. In the 88th match minute, FITO APPLE TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silbestre Mariny to maneuver through the defense. Nesto Inguanzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Negri in the 92nd minute of the match. Nesto Inguanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Reynaldo Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Austra VFC fully deserved thier win.
