Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Fábio Paraibano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toto Tualasamony blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Amaral having to make a save. In the 12th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Jorge Fantini got a free kick in the 14th minute. Roneros F.C.'s Asensio Berzosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Schmidt in the 16th minute of play. Fábio Paraibano scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asensio Berzosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Roneros F.C.'s zone, Franklin Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asensio Berzosa came out of the goal and Franklin Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Månsson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Amaral. Álvaro Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ivan Olano lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 37 minutes into the game, one of Roneros F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marcinho Zanette hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Tualasamony in the 44th minute of play forced THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney de Andrade's late challenge caught a Roneros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toto Tualasamony stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Álvaro Amaral made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Karl Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álvaro Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 57 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Schmidt came free, but Asensio Berzosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toto Tualasamony received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Álvaro Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Toto Tualasamony slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 63rd minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Karl Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Månsson in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Álvaro Amaral came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Toto Tualasamony. But to his dismay, Toto Tualasamony quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 80 played minutes THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Schmidt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Månsson got free with Álvaro Amaral in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute of the match, Karl Månsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Álvaro Amaral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Henrique Madureira's late challenge caught a Roneros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. Henrique Madureira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Javier Gandarias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Roneros F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Roneros F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
