Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Salvador Akins made the kick off which started today's match. þînk þ£st ƒç's Lewis Kendall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Tzorvas in the 4th minute of play. Saronida FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charis Kastanakos in the 6th minute. In the 6th match minute, þînk þ£st ƒç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Akins to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Vrazilianos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lewis Kendall made a huge save. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when þînk þ£st ƒç was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Akins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saronida FC's Minas Rodanakis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lewis Kendall but with some difficulty. 18 minutes into the match, þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Lewis Kendall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Kastanakos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petros Maragoudakis during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 25 minutes, Lee Norman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. þînk þ£st ƒç's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lee Norman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Antonis Vrazilianos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lewis Kendall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Maragoudakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewis Kendall made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Antonis Vrazilianos sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, þînk þ£st ƒç's Lewis Kendall got control of the ball when Antonis Vrazilianos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Sakis Tzorvas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Saronida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Vrazilianos to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakis Tzorvas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play Saronida FC's Petros Maragoudakis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 57 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Petros Maragoudakis. When Saronida FC's Antonis Vrazilianos in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye þînk þ£st ƒç's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes þînk þ£st ƒç got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Devine. If Lee Norman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charis Kastanakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lewis Kendall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Kastanakos in the 77th minute of play forced þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Lewis Kendall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charis Kastanakos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lewis Kendall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saronida FC. þînk þ£st ƒç's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
