When Erivaldo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Nova GO's protests and gave Erivaldo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Erivaldo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Klas Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Alén came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova GO's Juarês de Mendonça. But to his dismay, Juarês de Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hasslö BK's Albert Alén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes Hasslö BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Prado who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute of the match Vila Nova GO got a corner. Hasslö BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Prado ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Vila Nova GO's corner Jacinto Prado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albert Alén quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hasslö BK's goalkeeper Albert Alén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Guilherme Guedes didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 30th minute. Vila Nova GO's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Luís Guilherme Guedes sped through Hasslö BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Alén. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Luís Guilherme Guedes put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Alén. Albert Alén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Guilherme Guedes went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Guilherme Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Albert Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hasslö BK's Albert Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Guedes in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Vila Nova GO's Jacinto Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Alén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Albert Alén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hasslö BK's zone, Erivaldo Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Alén came out of the goal and Erivaldo Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Hasslö BK got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Brovall. Luís Guilherme Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Alén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Guilherme Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Guedes in the 72nd minute of play forced Hasslö BK's goalkeeper Albert Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Guilherme Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Vila Nova GO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 82nd play minutes Luís Guilherme Guedes shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Albert Alén and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacinto Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Alén having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Luís Guilherme Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Nova GO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After 94 played minutes Hasslö BK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Enegren. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vila Nova GO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hasslö BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
