An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Dracena in the 13th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of OxentePaisa Salcity booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Paraense in the 14th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mathias Duarte hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Dracena was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Mesquita during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maurício Linhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Fabiano Dracena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabinho de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Linhares was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a little luck, LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Germano da Silveira came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by LRCA Office Club's Cléber dos Santos. But to his dismay, Cléber dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the OxentePaisa Salcity players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
