Angelino Helguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Massa in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Idacio Ballejos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséas Netto was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Febre Amarela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséas Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idacio Ballejos's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Kwyjibo were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Febre Amarela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Txanton Burset took the corner. The corner ended in Celso Martel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Febre Amarela's Oséas Netto did a great save. In the 60th minute, Luís Fernando Massa made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Helguera. Kwyjibo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Confercin got free with Oséas Netto in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Idacio Ballejos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséas Netto saved Febre Amarela from getting behind. If Felix Confercin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Febre Amarela got a freekick which was hit by Severino Tinoco. After recieving a nice pass, Kwyjibo's Txanton Burset tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Idacio Ballejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Massa came free, but Angelino Helguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Febre Amarela's Oséas Netto got control of the ball when Felix Confercin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Febre Amarela's Oséas Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Febre Amarela from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
