Torgny Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Manole Berca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvard Berg. Manole Berca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Dacian Săvulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match, George Pitiș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edvard Berg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Manole Berca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Somcuta MM's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Berca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Berg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isac Ipătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Giliusson in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Peter Vesterberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The wind increased when George Pitiș made the kick off in the second half. Edvard Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pitiș in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Robert Micu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Somcuta MM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sledgehammer KO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Steaua Somcuta MM's Robert Micu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Peter Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isac Ipătescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Torgny Biörkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Nyström's late challenge caught a Steaua Somcuta MM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Nyström helped the player get up and apologised. Isac Ipătescu was a little too slow when Oliver Giliusson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-2. Aurelian Chira hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Somcuta MM's zone, Oliver Giliusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Ipătescu came out of the goal and Oliver Giliusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Dacian Săvulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvard Berg. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvard Berg should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Oliver Giliusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Ipătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play Sledgehammer KO's Torgny Biörkman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Steaua Somcuta MM had won after a very even match.
