When Emanuel Mazăre came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the A4p Pitigoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Mazăre couldn't finish the play. Sandro Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Manuel Ghiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Manuel Ghiță made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, A4p Pitigoi's Emanuel Mazăre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Ghiță showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Sandro Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrupção's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Horia hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Mesquita in the 88th minute of play forced A4p Pitigoi's goalkeeper Manuel Ghiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corrupção had won after a very even match.
