Silvano Pagomari charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Pagomari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Gullegem's Roy Tuerlinckx was substituted for Alfons Daems. After 9 played minutes CERVEZA CALIENTE got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Pagomari. In the 10th minute, Kenny De Block left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny De Block in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Ler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robben Degryse hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. CERVEZA CALIENTE's Clodoveo Manex shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arthur Ottevaere but with some difficulty. In the 20th minute Roy Tuerlinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Matthieu Van Deijck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERVEZA CALIENTE the free kick. Matthieu Van Deijck hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Beti's late challenge caught a FC Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Beti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Maximiliano Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny De Block in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's Jerom Van Impe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Ler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeoffrey Deroek kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. FC Gullegem's Arthur Ottevaere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Bidari in the 32nd minute of play. Jerom Van Impe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ambrosio Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny De Block fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Ler having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny De Block to make the kick off. Rolando Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Arthur Ottevaere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Bidari in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Roy Tuerlinckx fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 69 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Jeoffrey Deroek. Ambrosio Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerom Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenny De Block sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, FC Gullegem's Jerom Van Impe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ambrosio Ler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With his leg Ambrosio Ler managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when FC Gullegem's Kenny De Block fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 89 minutes into the match, CERVEZA CALIENTE's goalkeeper Ambrosio Ler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny De Block. In the 90th minute, Lorenzo Decremer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenny De Block received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ambrosio Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Gullegem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
