Cesare Farina struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Sérgio Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veritas. Armando Giovannelli hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Horácio Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capivara's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Di Luzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Capivara's Sérgio Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Barresi in the 18th minute of play. Armando Giovannelli struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sérgio Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veritas. When Enrico Barresi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Veritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Barresi couldn't finish the play. Enrico Barresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Antunes having to interfere. With a little luck, Veritas's Filippo Di Luzio got control of the ball when Horácio Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Barresi in the 33rd minute of play. Filippo Di Luzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Veritas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Enrico Barresi hit a great ball. Sérgio Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Farina in the 43rd minute of play. Cesare Farina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Barresi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Enrico Barresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute Nicolas Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Di Luzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Horácio Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Giovannelli hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Filippo Di Luzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Tasso in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Veritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Barresi to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Veritas's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Tasso came free, but Filippo Di Luzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Nicolas Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Di Luzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Veritas's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Tasso came free, but Filippo Di Luzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Di Girolamo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Capivara got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Paulista. A collision led to Veritas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Armando Giovannelli hit a great ball. When Horácio Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Capivara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Ceresso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Capivara's Reginaldo Marquez got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cesare Farina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio Antunes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sérgio Antunes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Filippo Di Luzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Tasso in the 96th minute of play. The Capivara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Veritas's performance. The match ended with a win for Veritas.
