The referee ignored El Purete's protests and gave Tadeo Bolide a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 7 in the game by Xusto Burell from a close distance when the talented Feliberto Urki managed to make a qualified save. Masked Stars FBJ's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Masked Stars FBJ's goalkeeper Feliberto Urki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xusto Burell. Cleto Hanot got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Masked Stars FBJ's Cleto Hanot got a free kick in the 20th minute. Quintyn Pico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Benigno Sustaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Tadeo Bolide tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feliberto Urki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Masked Stars FBJ's Feliberto Urki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Masked Stars FBJ from getting a goal against them. In the 36th match minute, Masked Stars FBJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Florian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Sustaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Tadeo Bolide struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Feliberto Urki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Purete.

The wind increased when Tadeo Bolide made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Narciso Sotero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Purete's Benigno Sustaeta. Benigno Sustaeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Masked Stars FBJ's Benigno Sustaeta threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narciso Sotero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Benjamin Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Bolide in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Masked Stars FBJ's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Bolide came free, but Feliberto Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Benigno Sustaeta throw himself and got hold of the ball when Narciso Sotero in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Masked Stars FBJ's Feliberto Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Bolide in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Narciso Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Sustaeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Quintyn Pico in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Masked Stars FBJ's Benjamin Florian. After a defensive mix-up in El Purete's zone, Benjamin Florian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Sustaeta came out of the goal and Benjamin Florian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
