In the 17th minute Bin Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frederik Boss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 王益铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Bin Basten got free in front of the goal in the 61st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jan-Frederik Boss was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
