Matias Haitz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes, Victorio Garizabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Vieja Guardia Jrs and the Sportivo Desamparados players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Vieja Guardia Jrs getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Victorio Garizabal hit a great ball. Damaso Llin made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Arias Gundin sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Arias Gundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Llin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Damaso Llin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 13th minute of the match La Vieja Guardia Jrs got a corner. Sportivo Desamparados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrea Serna ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Arias Gundin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Damaso Llin made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Arias Gundin sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Victorio Garizabal sped through Sportivo Desamparados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Llin. In the 27th minute, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Christiano Alzola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Sportivo Desamparados's Damaso Llin got control of the ball when Arias Gundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arias Gundins short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Damaso Llin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 43rd minute, Matias Haitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arias Gundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damaso Llin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arias Gundin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's goal looked a bit too open when Arias Gundin came free, but Damaso Llin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Arias Gundin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damaso Llin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damaso Llin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Gundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Garizabal in the 62nd minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Damaso Llin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Arias Gundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Vieja Guardia Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Emilio Vagrande kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Koldobika Aponte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Ekhi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Evaristo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arias Gundin in the 79th minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Damaso Llin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Ekhi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koldobika Aponte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arias Gundin in the 81st minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Damaso Llin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Koldobika Aponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Desamparados. When the referee ended the match the La Vieja Guardia Jrs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
