Tino Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Travassos having to make a save. The Átomo F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mazaredo AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Patrido to make the kick off. Dorival Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tino Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Rossi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Didi Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Átomo F.C.'s zone, Adan Igon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Travassos came out of the goal and Adan Igon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ruben Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertinho Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Delmiro Ferrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Átomo F.C.. Mazaredo AFC's Delmiro Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Xande in the 91st minute of play. Xande Xande's late challenge caught a Mazaredo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xande Xande helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Átomo F.C.'s Xande Xande got a free kick in the 94th minute. Mazaredo AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
