After recieving a nice pass, Átomo F.C.'s Tostão Bastos tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rudolf Ivaňo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Átomo F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
