In the 33rd match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Malvin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fhury FC's Dércio Arruda got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Lustosa in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fhury FC's Dimas Castanheira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Cordara. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Silverio Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimas Castanheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Domingos Horado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Fhury FC's Maurício Quintanilha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silverio Cordara. Silverio Cordara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Silvestre Novais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Cordara. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Cordara should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Fhury FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dimas Castanheira hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Caio Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Denis Senon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fhury FC's Tobias Paredes didn't even have to move. Dimas Castanheira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordara having to interfere.
