The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, 康风树 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 广东红雀代表队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prato Valera the free kick. The shot was stopped by 俞榕寒 but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Prato Valera's 俞榕寒 threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armando Pacella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 14 played minutes 广东红雀代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 刘亮亮. After 20 minutes, Edmondo Corvasce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prato Valera and the 广东红雀代表队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 30 minutes, 康风树 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 广东红雀代表队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 康风树 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 楚辰军 took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonello Bianco. Antonello Bianco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 楚辰军 in the 35th minute of play forced Prato Valera's goalkeeper Antonello Bianco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 俞榕寒 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Pacella, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Christian Di Cicco's late challenge caught a 广东红雀代表队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Di Cicco helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Prato Valera got a freekick which was hit by Christian Di Cicco. Armando Pacella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞榕寒 having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

55 minutes into the match, 广东红雀代表队's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Pacella came free, but 俞榕寒 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, 楚辰军 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonello Bianco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to 广东红雀代表队 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. 张希挺 hit a great ball. Antonello Bianco was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and 楚辰军 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 楚辰军 really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 俞榕寒 came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Prato Valera's Armando Pacella. But to his dismay, Armando Pacella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Alberto Maiorano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Maiorano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, 张希挺 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armando Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 莫正坤 charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 莫正坤 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes 广东红雀代表队 got a freekick which was hit by 莫正坤. Armando Pacella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 俞榕寒 having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Armando Pacella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over 广东红雀代表队 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Prato Valera throughout the match.
