In the 9th minute, Baltazar Monteiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jano Mazza, passed just outside the right post. Celso Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Jano Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Monteiro. Baltazar Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jano Mazza made a huge save. Tiãozinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Massa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Barreto during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Barreto. Velho Barreiro FC's Baltazar Monteiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Diego Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Velho Barreiro FC's Betão Araújo was substituted for Baltazar Monteiro. Mathias Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Rosado in the 25th minute of the match. Tiãozinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Massa having to interfere. Enio do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mathias Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When André Luiz Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velho Barreiro FC's protests and gave André Luiz Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Soeiro in the 46th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Mathias Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuca Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Araújo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Mazza saved Gracie Barra from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Prata in the 57th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Jano Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velho Barreiro FC's Mathias Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Rosado in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Samuca Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Diego Queirós got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Luís Paulo Prata sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jano Mazza skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Prata came free, but Jano Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betão Araújo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jano Mazza. Jano Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 76 minutes into the game, Tales Machado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathias Massa. Tales Machado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Velho Barreiro FC's Mathias Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Velho Barreiro FC from getting a goal against them. Samuca Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mathias Massa made a huge save. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Mathias Massa got control of the ball when Tiãozinho Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armandinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Velho Barreiro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gracie Barra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
