Thaddäus Sonsini hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ribeirada booed when Bern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Della Rossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Torcato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonio Meier kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Bern FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alexis Junod hit a great ball. Higino Castanheira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Schneider in the 31st minute. Bern FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ribeirada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Riccardo Hediger took the corner. If Isidoro Torcato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bern FC's Corvinus Grossmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Torcato in the 44th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Torcato to make the kick off. In the 75th minute, Belchior Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ribeirada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Isidoro Torcato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ribeirada's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Torcato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corvinus Grossmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
