When Tonio Meier fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bern FC's protests and gave Tonio Meier a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Bern FC got a freekick which was hit by Tonio Meier. Namık Kemal Serbülend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Della Rossa in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ben Della Rossa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BERTİZ JK's Namık Kemal Serbülend. Namık Kemal Serbülend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Özen Günsels short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Corvinus Grossmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Berthold Oehen fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bern FC's protests and gave Berthold Oehen a yellow card for diving instead. Berthold Oehen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, BERTİZ JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Della Rossa came free, but Namık Kemal Serbülend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bern FC's Corvinus Grossmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Bern FC from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Hüsnü Halıcı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corvinus Grossmann. Bern FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüsnü Halıcı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Namık Kemal Serbülend made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Berthold Oehen sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Della Rossa got free with Namık Kemal Serbülend in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BERTİZ JK's Namık Kemal Serbülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berthold Oehen in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tonio Meier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Ben Della Rossa made a precise shot to the right of Namık Kemal Serbülend. BERTİZ JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Özen Günsel sped through Bern FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Corvinus Grossmann. In the 76th match minute, BERTİZ JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Günsel to maneuver through the defense. Berthold Oehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Namık Kemal Serbülend having to interfere. BERTİZ JK's Özen Günsel got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Bern FC got a freekick which was hit by Berthold Oehen. Sergej Trüller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. If Harald Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BERTİZ JK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
