Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Valencia in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Virto in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Virto in the 8th minute of play. If Xavier Virto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Virto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved 1901 Black Stockings F.C. from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Valencia came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Virto went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Petr Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Ceraso's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Calentura's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Erol Alkım 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Calentura's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eray Kadem. In the 29th minute, Xavier Virto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Calentura's Marcos Valencia in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Erol Alkım struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Oso Amezaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1901 Black Stockings F.C.. In the 47th minute Figueroa Axeitos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 1901 Black Stockings F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calentura were winning 1-4.

Sermet Uyguralp hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevallos Losado in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Figueroa Axeitos came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mahmut Çoğaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save 1901 Black Stockings F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Figueroa Axeitos got free with Petr Čech in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Figueroa Axeitos in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Figueroa Axeitos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petr Čech was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 67 minutes, Ricardo Santoyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calentura and the 1901 Black Stockings F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Santoyo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match 1901 Black Stockings F.C. got a corner. Calentura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erol Alkım ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xavier Virto took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petr Čech. Petr Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Ricardo Santoyo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Petr Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calentura. When Mahmut Çoğaş was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. After 76 played minutes 1901 Black Stockings F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mahmut Çoğaş. Figueroa Axeitos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cevallos Losado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. Petr Čech was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Figueroa Axeitos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Figueroa Axeitos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevallos Losado in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Erol Alkım hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calentura's Pedro Ceraso broke free in the 90th minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. Pedro Ceraso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petr Čech. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Virto came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Pedro Ceraso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Čech. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Ceraso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Cevallos Losado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calentura's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
