Machine Gun Kelly's Ramiro Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Cugini in the 37th minute of play. Fulvio Cugini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Clodoveo Galoer got a free kick in the 41st minute. Filippo Grilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ramiro Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paras Palle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Anselmo Pellecchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Galoer. After having played for 65 minutes, Anselmo Pellecchia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Pellecchia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Gagriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aquile Azzurre. After 89 minutes, Beppe Bordon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aquile Azzurre and the Machine Gun Kelly players grew even worse after the yellow card.
