After 7 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Victor de Sena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Hafström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Wanderson Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Hafström. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Clube do Remo MZ's Wanderson Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Hafström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Pitta in the 16th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Sebastian Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Victor de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Wanderson Cordeiro scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Hafström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Maia in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Mário Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Clube do Remo MZ's Victor de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Wanderson Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Cordeiro in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Wanderson Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

In the 57th play minute Durval Pitta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sebastian Hafström. 0-9. In the 60th minute, Mário Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Sebastian Hafström made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Durval Pitta sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the game, Rolf Henriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube do Remo MZ the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Clube do Remo MZ's Wanderson Cordeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Hafström. Sebastian Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Pitta in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Wanderson Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Hafström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. Vinícius Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Victor de Sena in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Hafström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luizão Vides's late challenge caught a Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Vides helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Luizão Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cléber Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Henriksson in the 89th minute of play. Sebastian Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Hafström made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wanderson Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Bajen's goalkeeper Sebastian Hafström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wanderson Cordeiro. Clube do Remo MZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
