After a rather tough play, Vila Nova Futebol Clube's Hugo Secco got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes Vila Nova Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Elder Trigo. Ravi Akiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Palben charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Palben the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Vila Nova Futebol Clube's protests and gave Hélder Recife a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Vila Nova Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Recife to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, one of Vila Nova Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vila Nova Futebol Clube. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Dolar Blue Ψ. Iker Panfilo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flávio Dantas. 0-1. With a little luck, Dolar Blue Ψ's Guido Sein got control of the ball when Hugo Secco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Monteiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper Guido Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Palben got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Dolar Blue Ψ's Sergio Palben got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hélder Recife hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauã Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Viviano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Guido Sein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolar Blue Ψ's attentive Anibal Viviano managed to snatch the ball when Edu Moreno made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. When Samuel Fero came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Dolar Blue Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Fero couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Monteiro in the 82nd minute of play forced Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper Guido Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Monteiro in the 92nd minute of the match. Samuel Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Vila Nova Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Flávio Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Viviano. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Nova Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iker Panfilo was slow to take the kick. During this time Dolar Blue Ψ's players had a chance to rest. In the 100th minute of the match Dolar Blue Ψ got a corner. Vila Nova Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iker Panfilo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dolar Blue Ψ's Iker Panfilo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flávio Dantas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Dolar Blue Ψ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
