Curcio Vuelta came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Flávio Costa. But to his dismay, Flávio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Nieto. In the 15th match minute, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. If Yoel Pedrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Luís Eduardo Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Nieto during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Gaston Nieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Luís Eduardo Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Nieto was the one to do the kick off. Luís Eduardo Quadros struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Curcio Vuelta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ. 54 minutes into the game, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Flávio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Curcio Vuelta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Flávio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curcio Vuelta having to interfere. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wesley Pimenta hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Labregos de Cazas got a freekick which was hit by Celso Romero. After 70 played minutes Labregos de Cazas got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Sobrado. 71 minutes into the match, Labregos de Cazas's goalkeeper Curcio Vuelta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Eduardo Quadros. After 75 minutes Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ceferino Belalcaraz who took care of the corner kick. Yoel Pedrosa made a great header on Labregos de Cazas's corner, it was just that Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Aloísio Arruda managed to reach the ball for a save. When Gaston Nieto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Labregos de Cazas's Gaston Nieto got a free kick in the 77th minute. Curcio Vuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anxo Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aloísio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Labregos de Cazas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ.
