Gärsnäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Nyqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieguinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Ingvar Holm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dieguinho Guimarães. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Nyqvist in the 19th minute of play forced A.C. Guará's goalkeeper Dieguinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to A.C. Guará getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alfredinho Rosa hit a great ball. Ingvar Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, A.C. Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Valle to maneuver through the defense. Thor Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. It was a penalty for Gärsnäs BF! Thor Nordin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Madureira's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. João Pedro Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Thor Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Guimarães having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. Tom Skoog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when A.C. Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Nyqvist in the 58th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Nordin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Ingvar Holm made a precise shot to the right of Dieguinho Guimarães. A.C. Guará's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
