Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Juan José J.J. hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Romeo Bermúdez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U. de Tarapacá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballeritos del Baile the free kick. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Deunoro to make the kick off. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Áron Szél, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Caballeritos del Baile's Clodoveo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Raab in the 79th minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Áron Szél got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caballeritos del Baile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
