Kristopher Billing might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bobby Gallo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristopher Billing ran back to his position shaking his head. Bobby Gallo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harvey Hartley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 played minutes Cipiripi FC got a freekick which was hit by Ed Munson. Joel Bright hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Defense booed when Cipiripi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Munson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Harvey Hartley came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Defense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Hartley couldn't finish the play. If Harvey Hartley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Whittaker made a kick off. Bobby Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Hunt in the 54th minute of play. When Kristopher Billing came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Defense fans jumped to their feet. The Defense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 62nd match minute, Defense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Wells to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Rodney Hunt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cipiripi FC's Bobby Gallo. Bobby Gallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cipiripi FC's Bobby Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Hartley in the 86th minute of play. Bobby Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Hartley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
