But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quentin Tanghe couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute of the match, Ryan Ancel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuca Siqueira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 9 minutes into the game, Ruy Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michel Willig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryan Ancel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Samuca Siqueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Élie Demangeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Tanghe in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Inacio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Quentin Tanghe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuca Siqueira. Quentin Tanghe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ryan Ancel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Samuca Siqueira made a huge save. Leonel Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Michel Willig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Tanghe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Gilberto Mattos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Bittencourt to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ryan Ancel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Élie Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Samuca Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inacio F.C.'s Samuca Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Tanghe in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Inacio F.C.'s Victor Bittencourt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Willig. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. Humberto Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Élie Pierson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALTHEN-DES-PALUDS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inacio F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, ALTHEN-DES-PALUDS's Élie Pierson got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Bittencourt got free with Michel Willig in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Élie Pierson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Siqueira having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Ryan Ancel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Ancel in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Siqueira saved Inacio F.C. from getting behind. Samuca Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Ancel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Élie Demangeon kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. ALTHEN-DES-PALUDS's Michel Willig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ALTHEN-DES-PALUDS from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Ludovic Lacroux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Humberto Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Inacio F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inacio F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
