The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th match minute, Ödsmål was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Wallander to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Ödsmål's goalkeeper Robert Törnkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kelemen Alseda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Tönnberg during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sten Tönnberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hannes Vestberg hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Robert Törnkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gutierrre Valseca in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Staffan Jansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ödsmål and the Sporting Buceo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Ödsmål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Pelayo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Törnkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Cecilio Pelayo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Ödsmål's Sten Tönnberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Sten Tönnberg off the ground. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Hannes Vestberg put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ödsmål fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Robert Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelemen Alseda in the 35th minute of the match. If Kelemen Alseda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martxel Bernia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Törnkvist having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martxel Bernia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Martxel Bernia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Törnkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Alexander Billström fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödsmål's protests and gave Alexander Billström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ödsmål getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexander Billström hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Gutierrre Valseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Törnkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Buceo reached it. The audience was convinced that Kelemen Alseda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Törnkvist was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Ödsmål defense, Kelemen Alseda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Törnkvist. The Ödsmål fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Törnkvist should have stopped the shot. Robert Törnkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lope Velis went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ödsmål's goalkeeper Robert Törnkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Bogren's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Bogren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ödsmål's Jonathan Bogren got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxel Bernia in the 80th minute of play forced Ödsmål's goalkeeper Robert Törnkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sporting Buceo's Kelemen Alseda in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ödsmål's goalie prevented a goal. When Sengrat Vid came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sengrat Vid couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Kelemen Alseda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Törnkvist was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Martxel Bernia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Törnkvist. Ödsmål's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martxel Bernia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 94 minutes into the match, Martxel Bernia notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Ödsmål's Robert Törnkvist. Robert Törnkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting Buceo had won after a very even match.
