In the 8th minute, Doru Burtescu made a precise shot to the right of Tayyar Sami. TÜRKİSTAN 61's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Matei Enciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AFC Napoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Enciulescu couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes, AFC Napoca's Isac Rogoz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tayyar Sami came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Napoca reached it. Matei Enciulescu scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayyar Sami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, TÜRKİSTAN 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkın Çağlayan to maneuver through the defense. TÜRKİSTAN 61's Tayyar Sami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Balotă in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Doru Burtescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tayyar Sami was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corneliu Bocșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Yavuz in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Napoca's Mugur Postolache got a free kick in the 36th minute. Corneliu Bocșa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yakup Heybetli in the 38th minute. Yakup Heybetli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Corneliu Bocșa made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goalkeeper Corneliu Bocșa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakup Heybetli. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Yaşar Nuri Yavuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Bocșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Yakup Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. TÜRKİSTAN 61's supporters rose to their feet, but Yakup Heybetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Bocșa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corneliu Bocșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakup Heybetli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayyar Sami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Enciulescu in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Doru Burtescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Tayyar Sami to make any attempt to save it. Tiberiu Muntian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tayyar Sami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakup Heybetli in the 86th minute of play forced AFC Napoca's goalkeeper Corneliu Bocșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Matei Enciulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TÜRKİSTAN 61's Tayyar Sami was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's Matei Enciulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayyar Sami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, TÜRKİSTAN 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahdet Ersan to maneuver through the defense. Doru Burtescu spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TÜRKİSTAN 61's goal. TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matei Enciulescu 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. Tayyar Sami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Burtescu went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. The TÜRKİSTAN 61 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Napoca's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Napoca.
