In the 17th minute Teobald Ligas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Bocșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Gomolka in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Bocșa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AFC Napoca's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goalkeeper Corneliu Bocșa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Gomolka. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Gomolka in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Bocșa saved AFC Napoca from getting behind. When Olgierd Degutis came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Kolanijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Degutis couldn't finish the play. Corneliu Bocșa was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Boguslaw Gomolka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boguslaw Gomolka really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 36th match minute, FC Kolanijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Gomolka to maneuver through the defense. Wincenty Fiszer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Burtescu in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Gomolka in the 42nd minute of play forced AFC Napoca's goalkeeper Corneliu Bocșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Doru Burtescu made a precise shot to the right of Wincenty Fiszer. FC Kolanijo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Doru Burtescu made the kick off in the second half. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
