An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Balbas in the 17th minute of play forced Fluffy White Bunnies's goalkeeper Edvin Uudur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Fluffy White Bunnies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Lenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Uudur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Balbas's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Edvin Uudur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Balbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Uudur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Balbas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Romo Ungo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fluffy White Bunnies's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
