Aversa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Celino in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Bassani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Abeijon made a kick off. Adrogue FC's Donato Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Egger in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Aversa booed when Adrogue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Loreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Egger, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Donato Loreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Pantani in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nicolas Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
