Diego Tieri charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Tieri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Tieri hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Di Giambattista in the 14th minute of play forced Castelmaurou's goalkeeper Nathanaël Barbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stéphane Foucher hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Luc Libert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Pozzo having to interfere. Nathanaël Barbot made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fabrizio Di Giambattista sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Dexter Morgan VR46's Ciro Buonanno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nathanaël Barbot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Di Giambattista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nathanaël Barbot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 played minutes Dexter Morgan VR46 got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Gargano. In the 48th minute, Jean-Baptiste Gaze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Pozzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrizio Di Giambattista was the one to do the kick off. After 60 played minutes Castelmaurou got a freekick which was hit by Gameiro Jeanmougin. A hard and well directed shot from Flavio Flocco led 61 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Castelmaurou's Nathanaël Barbot became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Brandolini during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Constantin Smagghe hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Castelmaurou's Nathanaël Barbot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Tieri in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Fabrizio Di Giambattista made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathanaël Barbot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fortunato Brandolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanaël Barbot having to interfere. When Dexter Morgan VR46's Fabrizio Di Giambattista in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castelmaurou's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 played minutes Castelmaurou got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Smagghe. After a rather tough play, Castelmaurou's Greg Fave got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castelmaurou's zone, Ciro Buonanno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathanaël Barbot came out of the goal and Ciro Buonanno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Fabrizio Di Giambattista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathanaël Barbot was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The throw-in from Achille Carbonetti in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Castelmaurou's Constantin Smagghe. Dexter Morgan VR46's Beppe Pozzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Gaze in the 92nd minute of play. Castelmaurou's Jean-Baptiste Gaze got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Castelmaurou's Nathanaël Barbot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Di Giambattista in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dexter Morgan VR46 had won after a very even match.
