Jorge Reijnders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Moritz Holmaa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will Montens got free with Moritz Holmaa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dino Maquiano made a great header on Kickers United's corner, it was just that Pheonix FC's Moritz Holmaa managed to reach the ball for a save. Kickers United's Jorge Reijnders got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pheonix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickers United the free kick. Maurits Weinhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Kickers United made a substitution. Artur Leenders replaced Jorge Reijnders. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Nils Taffenberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Artur Leenders blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moritz Holmaa having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Artur Leenders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Holmaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Artur Leenders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Moritz Holmaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Höijer. After 82 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjarke Amstorp. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Artur Leenders sped through Pheonix FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moritz Holmaa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kickers United had played much better football throughout.
