After a rather tough play, Kumla BK's Isak Pedersson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Kumla BK got a freekick which was hit by Egil Hedlund. After 4 played minutes, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Venancio Abancens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesper Lindqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.F.Fuenlabrada reached it. Fermin Celino struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jesper Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F.Fuenlabrada. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Peter Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kumla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Salqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Salqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Nunez Fernandez had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Peter Salqvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jesper Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Abancens in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to C.F.Fuenlabrada getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Antonio Chucho hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Salqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nunez Fernandez. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Kumla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Stephansson to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Kumla BK got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Ahlqvist. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Peter Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Peter Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kumla BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's Isak Pedersson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Peter Salqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F.Fuenlabrada's Nunez Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Erik Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Fermin Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Jesper Lindqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Isak Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Fernandez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Venancio Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F.Fuenlabrada's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesper Lindqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Peter Salqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Fernandez was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Ulf Ahlqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kumla BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F.Fuenlabrada the free kick. There was no doubt that Kumla BK were the better team. Kumla BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
