Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dobri Gaydov started the match with the kick off. Modesto Ungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Mariolo's Modesto Ungo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hristiyan Búndev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Malvin Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobri Gaydov in the 18th minute of play. Lore Zapico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hristiyan Búndev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Mariolo got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Ungo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobri Gaydov got free with Malvin Navas in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of 1.CSKA booed when Mariolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Teberga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Mariolo's Lore Zapico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hristiyan Búndev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as 1.CSKA's Traycho Abanozov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Malvin Navas. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. Vitan Astardzhiev hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lore Zapico to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Moncho Heraña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariolo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Modesto Ungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hristiyan Búndev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 1.CSKA's Traycho Abanozov got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 67 played minutes 1.CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Vanyo Kovandzhiev. After 70 played minutes 1.CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Panayot Kotzev. Kiliz Moyeda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hristiyan Búndev made a huge save. Moncho Heraña hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, 1.CSKA's Krum Shumanov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Krum Shumanov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 1.CSKA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Krum Shumanov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of 1.CSKA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mariolo:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Mariolo. Faustino Teberga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hristiyan Búndev. 1-3. Mariolo's Malvin Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobri Gaydov in the 90th minute of play. When Gavril Pantiev fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1.CSKA's protests and gave Gavril Pantiev a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 1.CSKA's Gavril Pantiev got a free kick in the 97th minute. Mariolo played a much better game than 1.CSKA and deserved their victory. The 1.CSKA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
