Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The HIT Gorica fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Istok Šabotić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Merlin Braddell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AMED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HIT Gorica the free kick. After 16 minutes, Istok Šabotić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIT Gorica and the AMED players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Istok Šabotić. Lan Šorli came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by AMED's Gerard Paine. But to his dismay, Gerard Paine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lan Šorli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Paine in the 28th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, AMED's Gara Hee made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lan Šorli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merlin Braddell hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anil Hongyi to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Paine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lan Šorli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Gara Hee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Zlato Gorišek got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Duško Turnšek sped through AMED's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Firdauz Boon. AMED's Shahron Low was substituted for Metodij Gomesano. After a rather tough play, AMED's Metodij Gomesano got a free kick in the 58th minute. Duško Turnšek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lan Šorli was a little too slow when Gara Hee got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 3-3. When Merlin Braddell came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AMED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merlin Braddell couldn't finish the play. Duško Turnšek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot 71 in the game by Gara Hee from a close distance when the talented Lan Šorli managed to make a qualified save. HIT Gorica's players were relieved. With his leg Lan Šorli managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when AMED's Gara Hee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Turnšek in the 81st minute of play forced AMED's goalkeeper Firdauz Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HIT Gorica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jernej Petrovič in the 83rd minute. Gara Hee who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Lan Šorli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 87 minutes, Mitar Čebulj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIT Gorica and the AMED players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Mitar Čebulj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Paine came free, but Lan Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AMED's Gara Hee got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, AMED's Gerard Paine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lan Šorli. Lan Šorli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. 96 minutes into the match, Gerard Paine dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lan Šorli, 3-5. AMED's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
