When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Concetto Guadagnoli took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Israel Ted to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amos Marchesani during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Velester Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Marchesani to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Orlandus in the 28th minute of play forced Velester Football Club's goalkeeper Angelo Castrucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Omar Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match, Amos Marchesani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Israel Ted was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Alexander Paglione put in a rough tackle. In the 37th minute, one of Velester Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Velester Football Club. A collision led to Velester Football Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Comunardo Bertoni hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Tomasso was the one to do the kick off. When Efrain Fonso fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Domselaar's protests and gave Efrain Fonso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Velester Football Club booed when Domselaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, Velester Football Club's Fausto Tomasso made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Ted was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Domselaar's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Bertoni came free, but Israel Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Velester Football Club's zone, Maximiliano Joanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Castrucci came out of the goal and Maximiliano Joanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domselaar's Francisco Gipuzkoa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Concetto Scarinci in the 70 minute of the game. Many of Domselaar's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Domselaar may have spent more time on the ball, but Velester Football Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
