Norrlands Athen's Gustaf Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Zaplana in the 8th minute of play. Gustaf Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiano Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gustaf Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiano Caballero in the 13th minute of play. Gustaf Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Nevada Uria scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Holm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Erik Ljusberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telesforo De Paula in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Holm saved Norrlands Athen from getting behind. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Ingvar Apelquist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Garaona Camino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustaf Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesforo De Paula in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Ingvall in the 40th minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Garaona Camino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garaona Camino was a little too slow when Jörn Helström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Puerto de Sagunto CF booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Joachim Zaplana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaf Holm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 48th minute, Nevada Uria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Telesforo De Paula to strike the kick off in the second half. Garaona Camino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urban Ingvall went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Jörn Helström made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garaona Camino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Puerto de Sagunto CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekaitz Jorquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Gustaf Holm got control of the ball when Zahar Ucero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ingvar Söderström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Telesforo De Paula came free, but Gustaf Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Holm made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Tito Marrero sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute of the match, Telesforo De Paula tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustaf Holm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Telesforo De Paula came free, but Gustaf Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Söderström during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Söderström. In the 87th minute, Erik Ljusberg made a precise shot to the right of Garaona Camino. Puerto de Sagunto CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Puerto de Sagunto CF's Telesforo De Paula slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustaf Holm. That made the score 5-2 after 90 minutes of play. Gustaf Holm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tito Marrero in the 96th minute. Norrlands Athen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Puerto de Sagunto CF for a fine match.
