An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Leão in the 8th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Gau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dé Eger's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Santiago Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Eger in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Mainumby booed when A.D Garotos do Vale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Mainumby's Armando Beltza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Cardozo. Thiago Cardozo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Régis Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Garotos do Vale's protests and gave Régis Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, A.D Garotos do Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Olivar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thiago Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Oinatz in the 39th minute of the match. Santiago Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Eger in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mainumby made a substitution. Eusebio Fiz replaced Candido Suero. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Urtungo was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as A.D Garotos do Vale's Dé Eger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Gau. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the match, A.D Garotos do Vale's Dé Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Gau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
