Chu Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Gaizkine went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Diego Garaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Chu Damião made a huge save. Pilar's Candido Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pilar played a much better game than Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF and deserved their victory. The Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
